    I think the problem in K-12 right now is that teachers feel very constrained by NCLB, pacing, administrative oversight, etc. This is all creating a climate of control and fear that discourages innovation.

    It's unfortunate, but hopefully the pendulum of ed policy will swing back again soon (though RttT doesn't bode well for that).

    I found a few teachers who were using them as a supplemental resource with other materials. I didn't find anyone using them (at k-12) as their primary "textbook."

    I'm finding that more and more teachers are using a mix of various materials in order to differentiate for different learners. I personally think that's really the way to go.
