Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I'm a passionate teacher, I'm in charge of teaching Technology and Robotics class in Middle School at a private school in Mexico. Also, I coordinate Technology and Service Learning integration in the classroom. As a technology teacher, I am continuously searching for new teaching strategies. My curiosity took me to the Global Learning Field in 2012, when my students and I participated for the first time in “The Flat Connection Project.” That international event, sponsored by Ms. Julie Lindsay (Ocean Shores, NSW, Australia), was the beginning of a new adventure; a journey filled with learning experiences that allowed my students to interact and learn with people from different countries while appreciating and valuing different cultures. My passion for education and my desire of learning from and with others lead me to be in contact with teachers around the world to develop and try new ideas to engage students in positive collaborative learning experiences. Later, in 2015, my students and I participated in “The Out of Eden Project,” sponsored by Harvard Graduate School and National Geographic. My experience with Global Learning Education is documented in the book “The Global Educator” (Julie Lindsay, 2016. ISTE Publications). Nowadays, I serve as a member of the Global Advisory Board promoting Global Collaborative Learning as a strategy to empower teachers and students. I recently got a certification on Place-Based Service-Learning by Community Works Institute (CWI) and become a member of CWI Advisory Board as Technology and Cognition Advisor. Today, I’m dabbling as presenter and speaker sharing my love for education.
