Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I have always been interested in global education. I taught in Italy for three years and have been a language teacher as well as a history educator. My true calling is social justice and international peace.I just joined the faculty at Avenues: The World School (http://www.avenues.org/). We plan to have 20 campuses around the world. Beginning in the early grades, all children will be immersed in either Mandarin or Spanish. I am looking for like colleagues in other institutions with whom to collaborate and share ideas.

  • I viewed your ' Avenues International Schools. '. Very Impressive !!!!! I met Mr. Schmitt in a teaching seminar in Washington D.C. He is an extremely intelligent individual. As a person who is qualified in college administration, vis a vis my participation in an Executive Leadership Summit given by Hampton University annually, I feel that our aims are very similar. My purpose in life is to network global education administrators understand other cultures, countries and specifically students in order to create a pathway to, and here's the most important concept, sustained peace. I am willing to collaborate with any educator or administrator to attain these goals. I am currently communicating with David A. Kolb, the father of modern ideas in experiential learning, to help with a submission for the ' Encyclopedia of Philosophy of Education '. I intend on writing a book on theories, formulas and practica to improve pedagogy and administrative practices around the world. I would like to ask you if you would like to have input into this venture. I will leave you my email in your email space.

    Peace
