Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I just finished reading Maya Frost's book, "The New Global Student" and Tim Ferriss' "The Four Hour Work Week". My husband (elementary school principal) and I are trying to get to the point where we are brave enough to make a leap and take our sons (10 and 13) on a global learning experience. I'm looking for information and inspiration! In addition, in my teaching position at two schools, I am constantly promoting and working with classroom teachers to try to get them interested and involved in global learning projects with their students.

Global education projects or initiatives in which you are involved (if applicable):

We are working on a number of collaborative projects at my schools involving the use of Skype, Interactive videoconferencing, and web-based tools to connect with other classrooms locally, within our country, and internationally. It is an exciting time to be a student (and a teacher!).
