Prof. Yasser Dakroury is the president of the Egyptian E-Learning University (EELU). Dr. Dakroury is a Professor of Computer Engineering at Ain Shams University, Cairo - Egypt. He got a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Nantes (ECN), Nantes, France (Excellent with Honors). Prior to joining the EELU in November 2006, he held a position of Director of Information Systems Center at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. Professor Dakroury has supervised more than 30 Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses in research fields related to: real-time systems, computer networks, networks and Internet security, cryptographic engineering, software engineering, and e-learning. He is the author or co-author of more than 70 research papers in international conferences and academic journals.
