Daniele,
Would you be interested in answering a few short questions about Italy's educational system? In turn I can answer some questions you may have about America's school system!
Please let me know asap :)
Lauren
Dear Fellow Educator,
My name is Lauren Voorhees, and I am writing this letter in order to seek information regarding your work in the Italian school system. The following questions have arisen due to my coursework as a graduate student. I am a 2011 graduate of East Carolina University, where I received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Art Education. This past school year marked my fifth year as a middle school art teacher in a large school in Montgomery County, Maryland. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in the field of Instructional Technology in order to better serve my school and its diverse community.
The current course I am enrolled in requires me to conduct an interview report with an expert from a chosen country, in my case Italy. In my opinion, your listed credentials make you an expert and I would enjoy learning more about your career and path as an educator. For more information on this assignment I have prepared a GoogleDoc for you Interview Report 2016.
Inquiries:
What is your current position as an educator?
In Italy, at what age are students introduced to technology in the classroom?
Does Italian curriculum encourage educational technology?
Do you feel that educational technologies are being meaningfully incorporated into classrooms throughout Italian school systems?
Do you feel students and staff are motivated to use technology in the classroom?
Do you feel that teachers are receiving adequate professional development in order to authentically incorporate instructional technologies into their classroom?
What is the most important gain since the integration of technology in the classrooms?
What have been the most important gains in educational technology since you have begun teaching?
Since this project has a due date I would need your response ideally by July 1st, 2016.
Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Lauren G Voorhees
