Muungano Development Gateways - Volunteering MDG is a non-profit making and non-governmental organization (NGO) that promotes peace, mainly using international work camps. About Muungano Development Gateways (MDG) is a non-profit NGO providing voluntary services to marginalized communities in rural areas of Kenya. The organisation recruits young men and women from diverse ethnic, national and educational backgrounds around the world, to facilitate participatory development education among marginalized community groups. MDG has 35 branches or groups in Kenya. All branches and groups in these areas are recognized as non-governmental organizations (NGO) and/or as non-profit making organizations. Mission To enhance socio economic capacities of the communities through networking hand in hand collaboration so as to achieve self reliance and sustainable livelihood and growth.
