Meet STEM advocates and high school students from Marymount School of New York and their teacher, Eric Walters.

Actionable Innovations is a professional learning community in which participants explore innovation in education. Every Friday we meet to discuss trends in education and invite inspiring guests to join us and share their work. Parents, educators, students, and other folks interested in improving teaching and learning are always welcome.

On Friday, April 8, 2022, we will hear from high school students from Marymount School of New York. Don Buckley will interview the group about their STEM education work. Educator Alan November once noted, "What's going to get students more excited about learning, telling them they have a test on Friday or saying, 'You're debating British students Friday'?" Join Marymount students for an engaging discussion as they share how they are serving as agents of change in STEM, from a new organization called Girls' STEMpede, or by coordinating international conferences such as the Youth Climate Conference or the long-running STEMxYouth Summit. The students will be joined by their teacher, Apple Distinguished Educator Eric Walters.

All AI Conversations take place online at 1 PM CDT (GMT-5) on Fridays.
