Adobe Youth Voices (AYV) is the Adobe Foundation’s global initiative to increase youth creativity, which we believe is critical to prepare young people to be the problem solvers, critical thinkers, and leaders of tomorrow. Youth develop original media that highlights an issue they care about, identify solutions, and in the process foster critical creative skills and a passion to make a difference.
Please join AYV Lead Educators Chole Richard and Allan Kakinda on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, 11AM Central Standard Time, for an AYV Community Webinar, Putting It All Together. The webinar is free to join, but you must be an Adobe Youth Voices Community member to attend the session. The AYV Community provides free access to the entire collection of AYV curriculum and professional development tools and is also a space for educators to network with peers around the globe to share ideas and discover best practices. Learn more and register for the Community at http://youthvoices.adobe.com/essentials.
About the webinar:
We know that those brave enough to engage in youth media often face challenges, perhaps from a lack of resources, administrative support, or even human capital. How do programs, even in difficult circumstances, find ways to put it all together? Join us for our upcoming webinar and hear from educators who have found ways to make AYV work in their settings by focusing on their strengths. Learn about creative solutions and the benefit of developing a supportive local network. We will hear from educators Allan and Chole and engage in a discussion on how to leverage AYV in your school or at your site. The webinar is free to join and requires no registration. More details can be found in the AYV Community Calendar: http://youthvoices.adobe.com/essentials/events/5272b7548d5362fa3d0000cd.
We hope to see you there!
