The Center for International Education (CIE) at Washington International School (WIS), in association with the Global Issues Network, is pleased to announce its First Annual Global Issues Action Institute to be held in Washington, D.C. June 22-26, 2009. The five-day institute will be held at the beautiful Tregaron campus of Washington International School in northwest Washington.Students from across the globe will have the opportunity to attend workshops together and collaborate on projects and hands-on service learning activities.In addition to daily programming, students will have the opportunity to explore Washington and to participate in additional organized activities.For teacher activities, schedule, and additional information, please visit our website at www.wis.edu/instituteWe hope to see you in Washington this summer!
