World Without Anger announces the 3rd “International Conference on Global Trends in Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Peace Education to be held on June 28, 2012.
WWA has been working to create societies without anger and fear using emotional and behavioral skills and techniques. In furtherance of this goal, WWA is presenting an International Conference on EI and its evolution, and Peace Education which is being jointly organizing by The Global Peace Association (GPA) Nepal, and endorsed by Lumbini Buddhist University.
Peace Education (PE) is being implemented in Nepal’s schools and colleges through Emotional Literacy Education. These training programs teach individuals to take control of their thinking and feeling so that they can make the transformation to a joyful and peaceful life in order to experience the life that they desire.
The objective of the Conference is to stimulate interest in Emotional Intelligence and Peace Education for the management of various problems afflicting individuals and societies. A conference aim is to foster cooperation among researchers and educators from all over the world, not only in the developing countries, but in Western and European countries as well.
The aim will be to provide a platform to share the latest information on Emotional Intelligence, Peace Education through EI, conflict management, anger, fear, stress & its management. The conference will cover a wide array of topics from the field of emotional intelligence, stress, anxiety, coping, health, society and technology. The conference will incorporate groundbreaking research, keynote addresses from leading scientists and will provide opportunities for exchange of knowledge among participants from all over the world. The selected conference papers will be published after the conference is completed.
