    Join The Barnard Center for Research on Women as it celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Scholar and Feminist Conference with a two-day event exploring activism in education. 

    Scholars, activists, educators, and artists will examine the K–12 landscape and investigate who can attain post-secondary education, under what circumstances, and at what cost.

    Speakers will discuss approaches to the Common Core standards, educational alternatives, the school-to-prison pipeline, adjunct labor, sexual violence on campus, and continuing racial and economic segregation within educational spaces.
