This is a new initiative for the Global Education Conference Network. 

Between June and September of 2016, experience educators will design projects to take place during the 2016-2017 school year. These projects need to be submitted by September 11, 2016 preferably. The final deadline for submission is October 1. 

On Global Collaboration Day, which is September 15th, project leads will host an introductory activity to their projects in order to build awareness for their project.

For those interested in global education, there's a face-to-face conference taking place this fall in Philly: http://www.globaledforum.com/. The Asia Society and the Penn Graduate School of Education are founding organizations and the Forum serves as a meeting place for innovators, leaders and influencers in the field of K–12 and higher education. In 2015, over 400 educators from around the world convened at the Global Education Forum to discuss how to best prepare students with skills and knowledge to be successful in the 21st century.
