The Education Project is an annual event created to shape the future of education around the world and will look at solutions for the gap in quality of the global education system.The Education Project was set up by H.H. Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, The Crown Prince of Bahrain and Chairman of Bahrain’s Economic Development Board, to look at solutions for the gap in quality of the global education system. The Project will showcase seedling models of innovation and success in education, and encourage commitments from the private and public sector to adapt these models for wider roll-out.The Education Project, an annual event for solutions to global educational challenges, will be inaugurated in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with a two-day conference on October 15 – 17, 2009.The Education Project will bring together experts from all facets of education from pre-school to higher education. It will also focus on vocational training, an important area where improvement and increased reach can offer significant near-term economic and social benefit. The event will provide the platform for an open, solutions-seeking discussion involving all key stakeholders in education.The conference is free-to-attend, but by invitation only.
