Global awareness and collaboration is very dear to my heart.
I was born in Germany, grew up in Argentina and live in the United States. My High School years were spent at a German "Begegnungsschule" - an "encounter" school in Argentina , where different languages and cultures met in one school environment. I have three languages and cultures living in me. Too often I am confronted and witness mono-lingual and mono-cultural people misunderstand each other due to a lack of awareness of each other's customs, traditions, points of view...
I teach at a private elementary school and will be the full time technology integration facilitator starting next school year. My goal is to give each grade level the opportunity to collaborate and learn from students across the globe.
