To host or not to host

I'm interested to know what experiences you all have had in trying to integrate the web into your classrooms. Do you have a web page? If you did would students go to it for resources or extra help? If you like the idea of having a web page but don't have one what is holding you back?

  • For my personal web page: I created my web page for my portfolio while doing my Master's Degree in Ed Tech. I am so glad I did. I have used it a lot since then. It is sort of a portal or repository for my digital stuff. On the front I put links to the things that I regularly use so that I can get to them easily. On my home computer itis my home page. I think it has helped me to get jobs.

    I am a technology coordinator at an Elementary School, so I am the one that updates the school web page and encourages and trains the teachers to use their web pages. Time is always the issue for classroom teachers. The one that is used the most regularly puts up pictures of what they are doing in class. Here is the URL:
