Looking for ways to use technology in your teaching and connect with classrooms around the world? iEARN (International Education and Resource Network) offers nine-week subject-specific online professional development courses. Each interactive course has twenty-five teachers from the U.S. and around the world. Step-by-step our facilitators will help you select and integrate a collaborative project that fits into your teaching schedule and meets your local/state/national standards. With initial funding from the Longview Foundation our courses have trained over 1000 educators worldwide. IEARN courses have been awarded the Goldman Sachs prize for excellence in international education and most recently Ohio Department of Education has chosen iEARN courses for a year long teacher professional development program. Courses start: October 15th – December 16th, 2007 State Professional Development credits and CEU's available. Global Connections Exchange Program (GCEP) Scholarship opportunity available for four secondary school teachers in the United States.
