As an educator, I am wondering what tools/artifacts you have found useful to capture the diversity of cultures from around the world. I am thinking that it would be great if we could share photos, videos, and other rich cultural artifacts in an open repository such as SkyDrive so that everyone has access and can use the artifacts to explore culture-based models of learning. Many talking points can develop from the contrasts and comparisons of these artifacts. What are your thoughts?

I share your interest in exposing my students to cross cultural material. I want my students to be aware of cultural differences and to understand that "culture" is real and will influence or frame what they see and feel - the culture of others and their own. I have found a website that describes certain behaviors in different countries. I would like to make our own set of tools and resources by which we can share our unique visions of our worlds. This would of course be an ongoing project. I am interested in staying in touch to brainstorm and make things happen.
