I teach an Environmental Science Class for middle school students in St. Joseph, MO. I have two students who are starting a science fair project. Basically, they were wondering how geographical locations would have an affect on the acidity of the water collected from a storm.
They thought it would be neat to take a storm system that goes across the country (or further) some time this month, and see how the rainwater changed as it passed over different cities/locations. We discussed setting up a Google Document or wiki where contributers could add in what the water quality was at their site.
Is there anyone out there that have students that may be interested in the project and help them out?
Thank you! Terri, Jacob, and Bryce
