Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:
I live in Miami, which we call "the capital of Latin America." Within a mile of my house in Coral Gables, there are 250 Latin American headquarters. We are a global community, and children here "know global worlds" far more than where I grew up in Lawrence, KS. Both of my children earned IB diplomas and are fluent in Spanish. I'm always interested in meeting others who share interest and passion for a wider view of education and of the world! Se habla español.

Dear Dr. Rita Oates,
Thanks for the warm welcome, and for the information. I visited ePal a couple of times, and I find it very resourceful.
Evans.
Dr. Oates,
What a wonderful serendipity that you once taught at Harmon! Thank you for your response to my query and the information you provided. It will take me a bit of time to explore and grow more comfortable with using each resource and application.
I hope to stay in touch and share with you what I've learned and also get used to the various sites and streamline and enhance my teaching.
Thanks,
Shannon
It's great to hear that you and your children had such a great experience with IB!
We received the stacks of paperwork required to join the IBvc and it is taking our headmaster a while to look through it. BUT we are really looking forward to participating!
Thanks for your note! Aloha, Diane
After a long absence from the GEC, I've recently returned and immediately noticed your upcoming ePals webinar announcement. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend but am very interested in learning more....just looked at the ePals website and wow, what a goldmine! Do you plan to hold another webinar in the future and is it possible for those who can't attend to get access to a scriptum/recording? At any rate, I'm so happy to have found ePals.
Greetings from Vienna
Janice
I will try to get on-line since I have my holiday right now. Will check if I can use E-Pal....will dig into that matter asap!
