Short Session Description (one line)
We are building a platform to make the tools for teaching and learning anything, in any language, on video, available to all.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like)
Massive Online Open Courses and other are beginning to change the way we think about learning, but they are still at an early stage, and they are still very selective.
The individual tools for teaching and learning anything via online video, in any language, exist today. However, there is no platform that takes all of these tools, aggregates them in an engaging learning environment, and makes them available to anybody on earth, unconditionally, at no cost. In other words, the tools for teaching and learning at a global scale are not democratized yet.
Our goal is to make the tools for creating video courses in any source language, distributing them on any device, and translating them into any other language, available to all. We believe the value created by the massive collaboration of millions of people worldwide will be immense, and we want to enable anybody, teachers, professionals, mentors, and students, to participate in the global conversation.
The platform is in development, and will be ready in the near future. We are now working with different organisations worldwide, and we are looking forward to receive feedback from teachers and educators and to learn how can our platform most effectively help them in their classroom.

Hi Federico,
I am pleased to see your proposal for the conference. How do you feel about 2013IEARN as a tag. You might also want to add 2013Teachers and 2013Students. It would be great to have more students think of subtitling the videos they create in other languages.
Warmly,
Diane
Hello Diane,
Thank you! Can I use multiple tags? Ed Gragert suggested that EFA2013 was more appropriate for my session, but if it's allowed to add more tags I will do so.
Will the first on the list be considered the primary?
Hi Federico,
The order of the tags does not make any difference and you can have as many as are appropriate. They are helpful when people do a search to look for presentations they want to see.
