Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share with you the children's eBook series I just published with my colleagues, "The Adventures of BB and Sam".
The mission of the series is to promote global awareness and a love of reading amongst children (and their families). We've decided to release the book for free this summer so that more children, parents and classrooms can enjoy the stories.
We welcome you to download eBook 1 "BB and Sam: The Return of the Champion" for free and to share the book with your networks (schools, families, Facebook, Twitter, newsletters, etc.).

In the fall we are looking to pilot eBook 1 (and an accompanying curriculum) with schools around the world that are interested in global awareness/literacy. If you are interested in participating or know other people/organizations that would be, I'd appreciate any intros :-).
In particular we are looking to work with 3rd-5th grade classrooms in the following subject areas: ICT, Social Studies, ELA. Participating classrooms should have tabets (iPad/Kindle) and will receive a free class set of eBooks, free curriculum and free workshops around integrating the iPad/Kindle into instruction. Time commitment of pilot ~2-3 weeks (to be coordinated with participants and Bon Education to be as convenient at possible from a teaching and learning perspective).
Thanks so much!
Sincerely,

Hi Anna, I think this message needs to go in a different discussion forum. Your message is promoting a new ebook series, which is definitely on topic with the GEC, but not for collaborative projects (the forum category). Can you please move it into another category? I think the Resources category is more appropriate. http://www.globaleducationconference.com/forum/categories/global-ed...
Thanks!
