Mobile learning provides a unique opportunity for students to connect and collaborate on real-world problems, using a lens of creativity and social justice. In this workshop, participants will learn about and discuss a variety of collaborative, authentic projects that connect schools across disciplines, across continents and across the world. Mobile collaborative mechanisms, including FaceTime, Google Docs and Collaborize Classroom, will be reviewed in light of specific projects including the Global Beach Quality Project and the RSHM Network of Schools Video Press Team. Project development, workflow and assessment will also be discussed.
