Hello,
I hope I'm not violating any rules of the collaborative, but here goes!
Chadwick School, a K-12 independent non-denominational school in Palos Verdes Peninsula, California (Los Angeles area), has openings for full-time teachers next year in Kindergarten, Spanish (probably 7-12), and history (7-12).
Our school has been inching towards a full embrace of the global education movement. We are a full member of Round Square, a consortium of independent schools for international service and exchange, and we are in our first year of running a satellite campus in South Korea. Four faculty members studied global education with Merry Merryfield last year, and a fifth is receiving her PhD in global curriculum design.
But we need more global-minded teachers and 21st century educators on staff. Please!
So, if you want to come to sunny Southern California to teach at a values-based school, please check out our Web site, look under "About Us" and "Employment Opportunities," and apply for a job. We have no qualms about hiring people from overseas, so apply no matter where you are now!
PM me with questions,
George
