NOTE: This will be a live training session with African educators. We will hang out online after the session for a Lengthy Q&A session. We will encourage you to meet the teachers an start Flatt Classroom projects to help these schools. 

Description: This webinar will provide African community leaders with a detailed understanding of the Internet has changed African Youth, brake the chains of colonialism and empower African business/farming.

Requirements: No technical background is needed, we will explain how Internet “resources” and “collaboration” provide global advice and resources to transform Uganda.

 

You will learn how:

  • We will show how training youth in using digital story telling can educate a community on how Internet resources and collaboration can change their town into a more productive and ethical place.
  • Why this generation of African youth see poverty and opportunity differently
  • Model for integrating digital competence in community business and farming
  • Farmers will learn how to teach one another best practices and avoid disasters.
  • African youth and business can bypass old patterns of colonialism, poverty and multi-nationalism. How they can build new business, grown small ones and work with one another.
  • We will show the importance of technically competent youth working in current businesses.
  • Education leaders will learn how for a few dollars a month they can use the 10,000 education web sites as textbooks.  Youth will learn how to move from “education for jobs” into learning how into “training of to create new jobs.”
