Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
Over the last several years, Jennifer and Mark have partnered on over 100 international video conference sessions for students at the middle, high school and university level. Taking on some of the toughest subjects in the world, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Jennifer and Mark have developed strategies for live videoconferencing which humanize the experience for students and help teachers to develop effective cross-cultural experiences in the classroom. Participants in this session will learn about effective video conference techniques, and will leave the session with practical strategies for integrating international video conferencing into the curriculum in authentic and transformative ways.
