Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum):
We all share a planet that is tiny relative to the big universe it exists in. However, the number of complex problems we have on this planet often seem countless and disheartening. Given the size of our universe, it would appear that problems such as bigotry, hatred, wars, and so on, are an enormous waste of time, when we could be working together instead to improve our lives on Earth and exploring other worlds. At Big Universe Learning, we deeply believe that education can lead to a better world and as such, it is our vision is to build a global learning community that engages students to learn while providing educators indispensable tools to teach effectively. Over the past few years, we have successfully built a global community of students and teachers from over 150 countries.
This presentation will discuss how a global learning community can engage students through rich educational and multicultural content, fun interactive tools, a global sharing network, and robust management tools for students and educators. The hope is to not only raise global awareness through such a learning community but also build tomorrow's doctors, engineers, teachers, and others that see more similarities amongst the various cultures than differences and as a result, want to work together towards a better world.
