I teach in Horry County, SC USA - my seniors are currently working on a senior project regarding an issue (mainly social) that they are interested in. I would appreciate any dialogue between my students and students across the country and world regarding issues they feel are important and what high school students can/should do. Additionally, if your school does a senior research project, I know my students would benefit from a discussion about that project and how it is completed in other areas.

My name is Sushmita Hodges and I am teaching a senior elective starting this January called BRIICS (about the emerging societies and will have my seniors collaborate with students from India, U.S. and maybe South Africa and Nepal to evaluate the impact of globalization on these countries. I hope to have students interact via skype and ning and finally put together a wiki to showcase their research and problem solving skills. Please let me know if your students might be interested in participating in this project.
