Short Session Description (one line): Teaching English in a non-speaking English environment without access to technology especially in a school classroom,  can be challenging but exciting.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Being an English as a Foreign Language teacher in a semi-bilingual school, whose main objectives are to prepare students to pass Cambridge International to encourage them to travel to Canada, is not easy in a low tech environment. Our students are always willing to learn and do their best when they are challenged to participate. I will show some of the challenges I presented to them and how well they responded. Join me to see how my students and I have built a classroom of global/international collaboration, how we went out of the classroom walls and how enthusiastic both the international class and my class were to connect with each other: see for yourself how essential students´opinions and ideas are when preparing global projects. Besides, I will share with the audience how I provided intensive practice for the international examination through the use of user-friendly apps and websites and with the help of their international pals.

Most important of all, how my students managed by themselves to continue the international connection using just their cellphones: any time of the day, anywhere they are.
