We are pleased to announce The Empathy Project: A Fellowship from Participate and Empatico. If you are a teacher of 7-11 year old students and want to be a part of this pioneering cohort of compassionate, connected educators from all over the world, apply HERE. The fellowship is free to educators.
Together through our new Fellowship - The Empathy Project - we are forming a small group of thoughtful, committed educators who empower learners to engage with the world around them.
- Collaborative, project-based learning experiences to further develop global and digital competencies for you and your students
- Blended learning: discussions, resources, inquiry-based learning, participation in at least two virtual connections with partner classes
- Pathways to leadership opportunities for future cohorts
- Timeline: September - December 2018
Upon completion of the Fellowship, graduates will be awarded digital badges that showcase and recognize professional learning and accomplishments, that, in coordination with schools or districts, can be converted into professional development credits.

Empatico, an initiative of The KIND Foundation, was founded on the belief that all humans share a common humanity, and exists to empower teachers and students to explore the world through experiences that spark curiosity, kindness, and empathy. Empatico is a free platform that automates matching between partner classrooms, and combines live video with activities designed to foster meaningful connections among students.
