Want your students to share their lunch boxes with the world? The idea of the Lunch Box Project is for students to communicate in two different languages about what they eat for lunch as well as learning about what students around the world have for lunch and why.
The Lunch Box Project is going to run again in 2011 if there is enough interest. Please see http://lunchboxproject.wikispaces.com for more information.
Looking forward to hearing from schools from all corners of the globe!

You can post this also in the ePals Teacher Forum to get visibility from more teachers. (You have to "join" for free, just as you had to join this Ning before you could post anything.) www.epals.com
There are more than 2,000 posts in ePals Forums about "lunch" and maybe those would help you get some interesting new participants! Some of the posts include links to videos of students talking about their favorite lunch, showing how they eat (for example, in Japan with chopsticks) and other info. Some teachers approach this through nutrition study too!
Thanks Rita, that's a great idea! I think ePals is one of those things I'm a member of but have never really used. Seems like now is the time.
Thank you!
