Global education may seem like a daunting task, but making meaningful connections is a simple thing to do. In this workshop I will share with you ideas to connect with members of your school or neighborhoods communities to create meaningful, authentic and engaging multicultural partnerships to enrich learning. I will share how, along with colleagues we created a Chinese New Year celebration and an Indian celebration using members of our parent an local community. Tapping into resources from parents and students can transform your classroom into a center for global learning.
