You may recall our March 2022 announcement regarding the transition of our Global Education Conference Network to Actionable Innovations Global. Here is that announcement, in case you missed it!
I'm excited to tell you that this transition is essentially complete. We are now officially Actionable Innovations Global. As a result, the URL globaleducationconference.org is no longer in service; use https://actionableinnovations.global/ instead. Our Twitter handle has changed as well; follow us at @GlobalEdAction.
Most importantly, I am delighted to relate that World Savvy will sponsor our November virtual conference. I am thrilled about this partnership, and we are in the process of redesigning this professional learning experience. Look for more details in the coming months!
That's all the news for now, but you are cordially invited to drop into our newly revived professional learning community. Update your profile, browse our curated global education links, watch one of our Actionable Innovations Conversations, or drop a note to an old GEC friend. The community is essentially the same but a bit brighter and streamlined.
Our new logo featuring some of the SDGs' colors was produced by an Indonesian graphic designer on the Crowdspring platform, and in his comments to me, he noted, "This icon came from a simple idea. It is a world with seven continents for a global community of professional educators. The lines of this logomark are rising from the bottom, up above to the right side, symbolizing growing together."
I'm definitely looking forward to growing together in this professional learning community focused on global education and innovation. I hope you are as well! There is plenty of work to be done to make the world a better place.
