Ana Siqueira is a Spanish teacher who received Global Educator training through IREX, which culminated with a trip to visit schools in India. Her goal is to connect children worldwide through video calls and projects. As an author, her goal is to write stories where children, especially Latin children, can see themselves and believe they can be anything they want. Also, her goal is to foster empathy and respect in children when reading and talking about diverse books.

Global Educator - Irex- 2016 - training and visit to India. LatinxPitch Co-founder - A Twitter group of Latinx writers and illustrators with a mission: increase Latinx representation in the publishing industry. Fostering Empathy through Picture books - panels presented during NerdCamps, Reforma, and others showing how to foster empathy and talk about perspective and acceptance through different activities based on diverse children's literature.
