  Would love to have you join the project. It would be great to have students explore the histories of their own communities and do some projects related to that. That's one of the goals of this page - to get students looking into the histories of their own communities, early settlers, influences, etc.
  
  Let me know if you wish to join. There are different topics to choose from, and you can suggest ones of your own.

  I am still pondering a historical event to focus on. I would like it centered on the local community in which my students live. am also thinking of contacting the local historical society.
