Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

Chantelle is an educator, facilitator and change-maker with over a decade of leadership development experience within the education, non-profit, corporate, and government sectors. She is passionate about supporting others in developing the human competencies to transform our communities and create a better society for all. Previously, as a Director of Learning and Development, Chantelle designed and implemented training programs for global competence facilitator teams in Australia, Canada, USA and Brazil. She was also the lead facilitator for corporate training workshops, building leadership skills in companies located in Sydney, Brisbane, New York, San Francisco, and Toronto. When Chantelle moved to Toronto, she established the Canadian entity of an Education NFP and supported the set-up of new entities in the U.S.A and Brazil. Recently, Chantelle has collaborated with the Qld Department of Education and Central Queensland University to support the creation of resources, including a framework and training modules, designed to build capacity in educating for global competence. She is also a casual lecturer for the B.Ed program and Research Assistant at CQUniversity and a designated DEIB Coach/Facilitator for Hone HQ. Chantelle has presented and been a panellist at various conferences in Australia and Canada. Chantelle has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from the University of Queensland and a Masters in International and Community Development from Deakin University. She has also participated in Yale’s Centre for Emotional Intelligence ‘Institute for District and School Leaders’ and Anima Leadership’s ‘Deep Diversity: Leadership Skills for an Inclusive School.’ When Chantelle isn’t facilitating, she spends her time dancing at live music events, getting lost in books, travelling (35+ countries and counting), and enjoying outdoor adventures with loved ones.
