Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I work at a K-8 Catholic school, and I teach World Cultures and Geography to 6th grade students and digital video to middle school students. My goal is to expose my students to people of the world learning about the events that shaped their cultures in order to understand and appreciate them today.

Global education projects or initiatives in which you are involved (if applicable):

This year the 6th grade is going to read "Three Cups of Tea - Young Readers Edition." We are interested in working with other classrooms on a collaborative project inspired by this book. In the past, we have worked raising money for Heifer International, as well as, collecting food, money, personal care items, etc. for local charitable organizations in the St. Louis area.
