Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:
I've been teaching since 1996 in a large public high school in South Carolina. Most of those years my duties were split between teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) and Spanish. Currently I teach Spanish as part of our school's International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB). I am excited to be joining this forum, not only because I enjoy learning about other cultures in the world, but also because I hope to learn new information to share with colleagues in raising international awareness throughout our school. When not crusading for tolerance and global awareness, I spend my time chasing after my 8-year old daughter and 2 -year old son, fielding their endless questions. My other hobbies include home improvement projects with my husband, swimming, hiking, travel, and reading.
