I run this site, and am glad to see your reason for joining! I definitely think there's a place in undergraduate teacher education for promoting global awareness. There are lots of higher ed people in here, so browse the membership for contacts. Also, some NC state graduate students recently posted a few assignments in the blog section and that might be of interest to you.
