  • Hi Kimberly,
Thanks for your quick reply! I have done Skype with Japan and our students will all be receiving school gmail email addresses. I haven't heard of Meebo but I'll check it out. I've never used a blog with my classes and I think "ning" might also be blocked at our school.
My 6th graders do an imovie project in the spring to teach our elementary school students Japanese language. We could send you a copy of the DVD if you are interested.
Just wondering ...Do your middle school students study about Pearl Harbor in their classes? Our sixth graders study about Pearl Harbor and I thought we could do a joint project on that topic.
Let's brainstorm and keep in touch. Thanks for your email.

  • Hi Kimberly,
I'm happy to hear from you! I teach Japanese language at Mid-Pacific Institute, a private school in Honolulu, Hawaii.
I teach 6th and 8th graders and we would love to collaborate on a project with you! Do you think your students are learning more about Hawaii and Japanese language/culture?
    Let's brainstorm together.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
