Hi Linda, I am very interested in your Collaborative Mystery Project! I just don't see the link on your message. Sounds interesting! I have been thinking about introducing a Mystery Unit but just haven't created it yet. This is only my second year of teaching (second career!) and I am creating everything from extremely limited resources. I am please with what the students have accomplished. This year they are studying Heroes with a humanitarian/activist focus. They are currently working on creating biographies of their heroes they selected using some really cool Web 2.0 tools (Glogster, VoiceThread, Animoto). Next they will be collaborating by analyzing their heroes and creating an original story incorporating their Heroes. Finally they will be presenting their Heroes in a Wax Museum at a Night of Notables. They are so excited...so am I!
