I teach middle school math and social studies at a small progressive school in Lexington, Kentucky. Throughout my time teaching (well over a decade now), I've become more and more convinced that my curriculum can be a means of helping students develop the skills they need to make the world a better place. Focusing my teaching on the competencies of global citizenship provides a framework that helps me be more intentional about connecting my students to the wider world.
