I'm a counselor and professional speaker who focuses on helping teachers connect with students so students can connect with their class work. Students who struggle at school often haven’t learned how to bond with others, trust adults or focus in the classroom. SchoolToolsTv was created to help teachers and students connect and to give students some basic social skills they need to succeed. If students don’t believe it’s more about them than it is about their tests score, they won’t take the risk to excel. SchoolToolsTv creates a positive environment in the classroom that let’s all students know that we care about them as people first and as test scores second. I joined GEC to collaborate with others who share my passion for this work.
