Simar Mohanty is an 11th Grade ‘STEMinist’ the Team Lead and Student Coordinator of an all-girls Student Club ‘SDG Warriors.’ Passionate about the Global Goals, Simar drives her team of changemakers to ideate solutions for the world’s most pressing problems to achieve Agenda 2030. She's a Student Leader at the Global Student Chat. For her excellence in academics, creativity, communication, and leadership, Simar is recognized by reputed organizations with accredited certifications and honors and has been commended as India’s First Wakelet Student Ambassador, the first-ever student to clear the Adobe Creative Educator Certifications (Level I and II), a TeachSDGs Ambassador, and a Minecraft Student Ambassador. Simar was recently honored with the Gold Medal (First, All-India) in Graphic Design at the JuniorSkills Championship organized by The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. She has presented at various platforms amplifying Student Voice (ISTE, ECGlobal, Global Maker Day, GEC), representing the SDG Warriors with the idea of ‘STEMinism’ sharing learnings & inspiring students like herself, Clubs & Organizations around the world to take action & ‘Be the Change.’ She hopes to create a better world by being a kind human being.
