Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I am a doctoral candidate with Athabasca University in the Doctor of Distance Education program. I live in the United Arab Emirates. Athabasca is Canada's Open University and has entered into an agreement with the Nepal Ministry of Education to assist with the Open University of Nepal Initiative. This was very exciting for me personally, as I have had a keen interest in the rapid progress of educational technology and how I hope to see it become the 'great equilizer'; offering the same knowledge and information to all citizens of the world! It was no surprise to my colleagues, when I chose to pursue my EDDE studies in Nepal. I hope that the results of my data collection and analysis helps the Nepalese gain access to global knowledge repositories and I also hope that my results will be transferable to other developing countries. I hope to connect with others interested in the potential of technological advances in education.
