The Global Education Lab provides you with the information, background, tools, and techniques to use in helping your students understand the new world we find ourselves in and to better cope with the responsibilities and prerogatives of global citizenship. It includes how you can use video conferencing to link your students with other students around the world, attend conferences put on at the UN, and other innovative uses of technology.The handout DVD that was loaded with over 250 of the latest state-of-the-planet reports, books, and documents on everything from energy, climate, economics, children/ women/gender issues, communication, environment, water, health, human rights, poverty and a host of other topics—along with another set of global education materials on assessment, global service learning, globalization, lesson plans and curriculum, plus over 15 movies ready for classroom use and over 120 websites loaded with additional global education materials.The program is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania’s South Asia Center, African Studies Center, Center for East Asian Studies, and the Middle East Center and delivered by the global education organizations BigPictureSmallWorld and Global Education Motivators.
