Global Summit on Childhood – Call for Proposals

The Global Summit on Childhood will be held 10-13 April 2014 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Summit theme: Voices. Vision. Visibility.
With an emphasis on addressing issues pertaining to child rights, agency, and advocacy, the Global Summit on Childhood will examine the societal changes that may provide opportunities for, or threaten, a positive childhood experience for the world’s children.
This summit will offer a platform for sharing a wide variety of viewpoints, ideas, and information from all around the world. We welcome presentation proposals on research, policy, and practice from a variety of sectors. We are seeking diverse perspectives that address the Voices, Vision, and Visibility of Childhood from multi- and inter-disciplinary perspectives.
In the past, the Global Summit on Childhood has attracted delegates from over 70 countries.
