- Description: The University of Pennsylvania's South Asia Center, African Studies Center, Center for East Asian Studies, and the Middle East Center will host a full-day workshop on global education on Saturday, May 9, 2009.The Global Education Workshop was developed to help educators deal with the new challenges and complexities facing our schools, country and world. The Workshop provides you with the information, background, tools and techniques for helping your students understand the new world we find ourselves in and to better cope with the responsibilities and prerogatives of global citizenship. The program is being delivered by the global education organizations BigPictureSmallWorld and Global Education Motivators. Professional development credits from the University of Pennsylvania are available.The website below describes this program.
