  • Hi, Chantal. I run several important programs in China, and have a long history of curriculum reform that includes a focus on international education, world languages & cultures, and the use of social media for connecting global learning communities.

I'm planning to be at an Asia Society-sponsored event on Monday, May 11th (a report issued by the New York Task Force on Chinese Language and Culture Initiatives) at SUNY's Levin Institute. I'm wondering if you'll be at this event. I'd like a chance to meet.

You can learn more about my work at Ningxia Dragon Student Ambassadors, New School Curriculum Group, and my profile page on LinkedIn.

No, Chantal, I did not get a chance to meet you and your colleagues at CTL, but I wish I had. I really enjoyed CTL, and I hope to attend again next year.

A friend here is sponsoring some event at Columbia College this week, and Alexis Menten from the Asia Society is supposed to attend. My friend Mindy wants us to meet, so hopefully that will happen!

Thank you for jumping in the GEC and making a group. It's great to see all the new faces you've brought here as well. Please continue to post often so that other members benefit from your expertise. Personally, I'd love to know more about your schools!

    Hi Chantal -

Welcome to the GEC! I love the Asia Society's materials, particularly the profile of a globally connected teacher. I recently heard a couple of people from your organization speak at the Celebration of Teaching and Learning and I'm so glad to the Asia Society represented here. If you have any questions or ideas for improving this online community, please let me know.
