Short bio or reason for joining Actionable Innovations Global:

I have been a teacher of english in the government system for 27 years and the use of computers has changed everything about the way I teach. I am attempting to improve my skills in an environment which is not well resourced and with colleagues who are so exhausted from coping with the everyday that anything new is too much.I am looking to collaborate with teachers all over the world in writing projects of all kinds. i have used Epals for a number of years and would like to explore a closer bond as it is so heavily constructed by the site.

  • Hi Sue,

I run a project for high school students that requires them to take initiative, form a small international team and work fairly steadily and hard from Oct to April...to design an innovative solution to global warming and the future of energy. They can start the journey by going to www.globalchallengeaward.org - registration begins on Sept 1.
